We all know the saying. Well this is my thousand word picture.
Housework and home repair. That is what my life is right now.
Anyway, here are some snaps of the girls that have piled up over the last month or two.
Now before you ask, yes, today is the first day of school for the girls. I will post again later today with before and after pictures. I will also post some home reno photos throughout the week.
Vada got some very cool SpiderMan pajamas for her birthday. She loves them.
Kyla also loves her Rapunzel pajamas and Rapunzel barbie.
Here they are being all cute, Vada showing off her SpiderMan powers.
In an attempt to keep Rapunzel’s hair from becoming a ratty mess, I braided it. Kyla loved the do.
Vada wanted me to take a snap of her fortune cookie. Yes, that is a big ol’ bump on her forehead. She had been playing busy bee, and tripped and smacked her head on the floor.
Sometimes Vada does her own hair. It’s quite adorable.
From July to October, we have a little farmer’s market every Sunday. Sometimes they have live music. A few weeks ago they had this awesome Jug Band!
They were awesome, and just the nicest guys. They invited the girls to play in the band (with kazoos,) Vada decided to be shy, but Kyla joined right in.
Look, they even have a washboard bass.
I was very happy that they were actually talented. They are all great musicians, not just a fun little spectacle.
Kyla had a great time joining in the band!
As I said, they were great guys. So awesome with Kyla.
She even got to try out the washboard.
We went to the playground that we affectionately call the “Ninja Warrior” playground the other day.
Vada likes to swing off the top and slide down the poles.
Here she is being fearless.
Contemplation her next swing.
Both the girls love to climb this spider web type rope apparatus.
Posing at the top!
This part twirls around and around…if you balance yourself just right.
Kyla training for the Olympics.
There was a flip down after this photo. I was quite impressed!
Kyla chilling at the top of the web.
Vada trying out different ways to use the spinnie~do~hicky.
One more set of snaps. We went to a birthday party this past weekend. The house was right on the water.
The girls made some friends to play with in the back yard. Yes, that is the back yard.
This was some sort of game.
Everyone grab hands…
…and run across the yard.
There was much climbing fun.
Vada really liked the climbing part.
Well, more later. Have a great day!
