Amazing color use

The other day I was checking in to some of my Facebook groups and found such a pretty surprise.

Beth P., an amazing crochet artist from Australia was showing off pictures of a stunning chevron blanket she made for her daughter’s boyfriend. I just had to share it with you! So I checked with her, and she said she would be happy to allow me to share her photos of her amazing creation with you. I did ask her if she wanted them linked back to a website/Ravelry page/anything, and she said no, just share them.

Look at the color choices. I so love how it all moves! Would you like to see her inspiration?

This is Noosa National Park in Australia, Beth’s inspiration for the blanket. Can’t you just see it all in there?

And here is one more look for you.

This blanket is using one of the most basic crochet stitch patterns: the chevron. Beth turned something that has been around longer than any of us into something new and remarkable with her amazing color choices!

I just had to share.

I have a bit of an update on me. I most likely do NOT have Crohn’s Disease or any other chronic/incurable issue. It looks like I may just have a few treatable issues all at once that combined to appear (and feel) much worse as a group then they are individually. My next appointment is on Monday at which point the biopsies they took during yesterday’s procedure will be in and we should have some better answers. So even without real answers yet, it still seems to be very good news!

I should go take the kiddos to school, have a great day, my Blogland friends!

  1. Hi Jesse,

Glad you don’t have Crohn’s. I’ve had it for 34 years and I’ve suffered more than anyone should.

    Take care,

    Sherry
