Inside: Celebrate the Age of the Geek with these RPG Dice Bag Crochet Patterns. Make practical and fun bags shaped like RPG dice for gamers.

PinPin

A few months ago I came up with this epic idea of making RPG bags. Bags shaped like various RPG dice in two sizes, a smaller size to be used as a dice bag, and a larger size to be used as a shoulder bag.

There was a lot of geometry and other math, lots of yarn, and some words I won’t repeat in case there are children present. And now I am finally ready to share them with you!

This Thanksgiving week, all the patterns will be released and your inner geek will be full of joy!

How It Works

UPDATED 12/12/25

All 6 patterns have now been released, and are $5.00 each through the end of the weekend. On Monday 12/15/25 they will go up to $5.99.

The set with all 6 patterns and the bonus Bag of Holding crochet pattern (a bag that all the dice bags fit into) has also been released. The Bag of Holding pattern is not done yet, but it will be done by the end of next week, and if you buy the collection before then, you’ll get an updated download when it’s done.

Supplies

The supply lists will be included in each release post, so you can get your yarn and notions right away.

The yarn for all these awesome patterns was provided by Herrschners. They also sell a lot of the other supplies you will need, and tons of super-fun craft kits and supplies. Use THIS AFFILIATE LINK and stock up on crafting goodies. You pay the same price, and I get a small commission for referring you, so I can pay the twins collage tuition. (Have I mentioned how expensive twins in collage are?)

Video Tutorials

Here are some video tutorials to help you with various parts of the patterns. If you can’t see the videos, it may be because of an ad-blocker you are using. You can also find the videos on YouTube.
