Scarf Squared – Double Crochet C2C Box Stitch Tutorial

Corner to Corner (C2C) Box Stitch has become a hot stitch over the past few years. It can be used to make a square or rectangle of any size with pretty much any yarn. Plus it is made of blocks so it can be used to create graphed images. Once you have this stitch down you can take a graphed image (such as a cross stitch pattern) and crochet it. So cool!!

Vivian Crochet Cowl

With a combination of shell stitches and double crochet the Vivian Crochet Cowl has great texture yet is still easy to make. The Lion Brand Cute As A Button yarn makes is super soft and squishy as well. I have also designed a knit version if that’s more your groove. This cowl can be made super quick with just one skein of yarn. The starting chain runs around the middle of the cowl, and the stitches are then worked up to the top and then down to the bottom. I really enjoyed creating the Vivian Cowl for you!

Hexagon Dish Scrubby or Trivet

I love the usefulness and cleanliness of crochet scrubbies! The Hexagon Dish Scrubby has lots of texture so it can scrub well. You can make it larger to be used as a trivet as well. If you make 7 or 8 of them, you can use a new one every day and then toss them in the wash once a week. This makes them more clean, more green, and more affordable then disposable sponges.

Mr. Cuddles – a soft, fluffy and cozy couch throw

As soon as I touched Red Heart Hygge yarn I wanted to be wrapped in it! It’s just so incredibly soft and comforting. So of course I made a couch blanket out of it. Mr.Cuddles is part of the Hygge Home CAL (more details below), so I wanted it to be finishable it a week. In the “getting started” section I’ve included instructions on how to make the blanket larger. Mr. Cuddles is great for one, but if you want to get cuddly with a loved one, you can get more yarn and make him big enough for two! Enjoy the pattern and stay warm and cozy!

Deep Purse – works great as a project bag, too!

This deep purse is quick and easy to make! Using 3 colors there is no need to cut the yarn between rows, just carry them along the side. The Cascade Yarns 128 Superwash is thick and crochets very smoothly. Each row is shaped with stitches of varying heights and increases or decreases. The purse is plenty big to carry all your goods or even to carry around your current WiP (Work in Progress). The sample is made with shades of blue, but you can make yours in any colors that make you happy!
