Nineteen years ago Diana McKay & Leslie Taylor had young children at home and wanted interesting jobs with very flexible hours; so they started hand dyeing beautiful high quality wools in their kitchens. They grew, moved into a dye studio, and hired a wonderful staff. They now carry 21 yarns in 60+ luscious colors that have been in inspired by the mountains, rivers and woodlands that surround them.
This past January I had the pleasure of meeting Retomantic Fripperies at the winter TNNA trade show. I was immediately enamored! The vintage charm in everything they do is just lovely!
