The third necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Crochet necklace series is made using slip stitch crochet and chain stitches. It has 6 full twists in it, creating a beautiful spiral of color. The Chain Slip necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 50 yards of sport weight yarn.

Before working the final round, weave in all the ends, it will make life so much easier!
It is important that you keep the twist in your work pushed away from you, especially when making the first sl st after a set of chains. All the chains below the set being joined should lay flat as seen in the picture below
Pattern:
Round 1: Ch 150, fold piece into a loop, being careful not to twist, once lined up, twist end without active loop 8 complete times, sl st in blo of first 10 ch, ch 20, * skip 20 ch, sl st in blo of next 10 ch making sure that none of the twist is in the skipped chains, ch 20, repeat from * to end of round, do not join. Round 2: * Sl st in blo in each of next 10 sl sts, ch 20, repeat from * around, do not join.
Change color.
Rounds 3~5: * Sl st in blo in each of next 10 sl sts, ch 20, repeat from * around, do not join.
Change color.
Rounds 6~8: * Sl st in blo in each of next 10 sl sts, ch 20, repeat from * around, do not join.
Change color.
Rounds 9~10: * Sl st in blo in each of next 10 sl sts, ch 20, repeat from * around, do not join.
Round 11: Fold piece in half so that rounds 1 and 10 touch, * (sl st through back loop of next sl st in round 10 and front loop of next st in round 1) 10 time, ch 20, repeat from * around, join to first sl st with a sl st.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
