I’ve been been up to a lot o’ knitting and crocheting and other fun stuff lately. Here is a bit of everything, just a random selection of my life right now.

I’ve been getting some really great reviews about my Tea Cup Bunting pattern. It makes me happy. If you want the pattern you can buy it now; it’s only $4, and it is oh so fun and easy!

This is what my coffee table looked like earlier this week. Craft Hope creations exploding everywhere!

The current Craft Hope project is for Christmas in Dixie.

Their {Christmas in Dixie} plan is to distribute a storage box filled with ornaments, lights, and stockings the first weekend in November to each family. This is where we Craft Hope comes in with the stockings. We are asking you to make handmade stockings to help Christmas in Dixie fulfill their dreams of holiday boxes for the families. ~from Craft Hope

So I’ve been knitting away. Just basically using a bulky yarn with size 10 needles and making a large sock. I’ve been playing around with the stitch numbers each time, so they all are a bit different and fun.

Then there is this large fun crocheted guy.

Kyla thought it made a fun hat before it was all done.

More piles of yarn, on it’s way to stockingness.

At first I thought of sewing stockings, so I grabbed some fun fabric from my stash; but then I changed my mind. On top of the pile is the top of Kyla’s Faerie Flower skirt.

Here we have some testers for the petals for Kyla’s skirt. Gotta get back to that.

Ahh, Vada art. She ate all the peas out of the snow peas, and put the skins one by one around Daddy’s plate. She was very proud of her creation.

Well, have a lovely weekend, my friends.

  1. Wondering if you could send me your basic knit stocking pattern. I am just over halfway the one I am knitting for craft hope. since I have never knit a sock, I found a pattern for one knit in 2 pieces, but think that knitting in the round would definately be faster for me.
