My super-nifty and ultra-talented mentor, Andee Graves, has created a little online book of crochet coloring pages and it’s free on FaveCrafts. The pages each have a little different personality, and they all make my soul happy.
When Andee asked me if I would write a review of her coloring pages I didn’t hesitate to say yes. I already knew what a great artist Andee was, and I had no doubt the pages would be great.
Andee used some finished crochet creations to draw from for her pages, so the drawings look realistic, and you can really follow the yarn. I really like the pages that have both the chart and the finished item, it’s so fun to see how they relate!
The picture below is one Andee sent me. She colored this one. Isn’t it so pretty! I’m looking forward to coloring this one myself. I’ll do all 4 of them eventually. You can get yours for free HERE.
First I printed the pages on regular printer paper, but then I decided I want to not only use colored pencils, but markers and watercolor pencils as well. So I gave the first set of pages to the kiddos to color, and I printed them all out again on card stock.
It was so nice and relaxing to color. The images are well drawn and well composed. As a crocheter, I appreciate that you can see the real stitches, they aren’t just nondescript blobs.
I think this one is going to have to go up on my pin board above my desk; it’s crochet, Andee, and me all wound up together. I love that so much!
OK, now hop on over to FaveCrafts and grab your free PDF book of coloring pages HERE. Then grab some tea or an adult beverage, color, and unwind!
