Well hello there my blogland friends! I hope you had a splendid weekend. I have some pretty snaps of the last few days to share with you!
Everything looked so good at the produce store last week, I got very camera happy when I got home. I just noticed one of those plums looks a bit off in the photo. It must just be the water on it and a trick of the light, as they were all very great!
The cherries, however, ended up having a lot more mushy specks then I would have liked, but oh well.
Vada was very happy about the grapes. Both of the girls love them, but Vada did a little happy dance when she got home from school and saw them on the table.
Friday evening was Family Fun Night at the school. They had an inflated slide.
There was also a bouncy obstacle course. The kids got to go two at a time and race.
Vada won this one.
There were lots of fun things to do. Including face painting. Yes, the girls decided Friday was another Star Wars day. Some mornings are very amusing when the girls pop out of their room with their outfits on. I have seriously debated listening at the door to hear the conversations that happen when they are picking out their clothes. I don’t, though. I like that they have little things just for the two of them, and choosing their outfits together is one of those things.
Kyla asked to be a princess. Are you surprised?
Vada wanted a rainbow.
The girls found a nice patch of dirt to sit upon at dinner time. I’m not sure why I found it so amusing that with all the grass around, they managed to find a dirt patch.
There was also a free photo booth that popped out two sets of photos with each session. The poses were great. I love when they give themselves bunny ears!

Kyla was feeling especially silly on Saturday.
The wall seemed like a good spot for TV watching.
I love my little odd balls.
Sunday’s street fair was another bust. At least the girls had a great time, and we got some colorful kettle corn!
Today I have been doing some house cleaning. Lots of laundry to be done. Always lots of laundry to be done.
I have started playing around with ideas for my next crochet pattern.
The Angela shrug is almost ready to be released! I am just about done with making one for myself, I have been using this one to get better process photos for the pattern. Once it is done I just need to get a few good snaps of the finished shrug, and then add in some of the various finished photos from my testers to the pattern. Then it will be all ready for you to make your own!
