I know I have been a bit quite this week. It has been quite busy about here.
On Wednesday and Thursday I worked at the school book fair, and on Wednesday evening Doug and I went to Back to School Night at the girls’ school.
I was able to get a little bit of crochet done at the book fair; mostly during the lunch period.
I have been spending the vast majority of my time getting ready for the knit and crochet show, and most of that prep time has been working on the Katherine coat.
I really want to have this done in time for the show. I can do it, I know I can!
I have also been printing out lots of patterns to sell through Crochetville at the show. I will be signing my patterns at the Crochetville booth from 11:30 to 12:00 on Saturday.
I will also have an email sign up there. I have some fun plans for you! In January I am going to start sending out a little email newsletter. I will send out at least one a month, but no more then one a week. Every newsletter will have a coupon code to get at least 5% off your entire purchase in my Ravelry pattern store, which will be active until the next newsletter. Before January, I will put a sign up here, as well; so those of you who are not able to go to the show can still sign up.
There will be other wonders in the newsletter as well. You will be told when new patterns are available. You will get sneak peaks at patterns in the works. You will be the first to know about any special sales and giveaways. And I’m sure more fun will happen as time goes on!
Anyway, I need to get back to my needles. As you can see, I still have a ways to go.

It’s looking so good! I can’t wait to see it in person!!!!
Thanks! I can’t wait to be done and able to wear it!
Keep knitting!
I learned to knit before I learned crochet. Due to two major neck surgeries I can’t knit like I used too. I love your Katherine Coat. It is beautiful and your work is superb. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Thank you! I am excited for the finished product as well.
