I am so excited about the Lancaster Fiber Festival, you guys! It’s going to be so much fun. The festival runs from Aug 16-18 and is a celebration of paper, fabric, yarn and thread. There will be vendors and classes and a good time will be had by all!!
There will be vendors from hand dyed yarn to Zentangle and calligraphy pens or beads and metallic threads or notions and fabric. You will find a variety of unique and interesting supplies, books, patterns and other materials to enrich your craft. I plan on stocking up on craft supplies while I’m there. I’m driving, and I drive an SUV, so I can buy a LOT of craft supplies!
There will be demonstrations which will give you a chance to learn from nationally recognized teachers, vendors, manufacturers and local guilds. You will be enjoy learning to: spin, dye yarn with Kool Aid, make a silk cord bracelet and many other fun and informative topics. I’m really looking forward to learning some new skills and brushing up on some old ones.
And there will be classes guys, so many classes! Including several taught by Melissa Leapman, Mary Beth Temple, Charles Voth, and, oh, ME!! That’s right, I’m teaching 2 crochet classes and one knit class. Take a look and sign up HERE. You really need to look at the line up, you’re not going to want to miss this!
