A review of the Manta Ray Bomber from LEGO.

Do you know what today is? It’s the opening of the LEGO NINJAGO Movie!! The girls and I got to celebrate by building the Manta Ray Bomber the other night.
After homework was done, we gathered all the LEGO NINJAGO goodies on the dining room table and get started with the Mini Figures.
The Mini Figures are always fun because it’s a mystery what you will get. I got to build one (I got the fun one in the middle) and the girls each built two. They then oversaw as we built the Manta Ray Bomber.
The Manta Ray came with 4 mini figures of it’s own. Lots of fun for play time!
The girls took turns each building one page of the directions at a time. As always with LEGOs, the directions were clear and easy to follow.
There were so many little parts, it was awesome watching the girls following the directions and using spacial relations to be sure everything went in just the right spot.
Here is what Kyla has to say about building the Manta Ray Bomber: It was fun and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we make next. My favorite part was making all the mini characters. I think the Bomber was easy to make.
And here is what Vada has to say: I think my favorite part was that we were building the big airplane boat thingy and it’s really fun to play with. I liked making the weird guy with the buckets. I like the directions being pictures.
The girls have been playing with the Manta Ray Bomber a lot since they built it. With all the moving parts and mini figures, there is so much to do, and with their imaginations there is even more. We just love our LEGO time over here At Home.

Love to see these girls. They are so smart and creative. Keep up the good work.
As a retired Principal and elementary teacher, I love that your girls are so interested in Legos!!!! I always encuraged all of my students, girls and boys to build with leggos–also taught all to needlepoint!!!!
It looks like a lot of fun and it’s so better than screen time.
