Re: Mandala Rug. Am fine til 13th row. I finish with 120 sts. pattern says 112 sts. what am i doing wrong. Have ripped and counted stitches several times and always come up with 120. If you eliminate one hdc, then it comes out to 112. Could you please help me. The rug is beautiful and I want to finish it.
Do me a favor – leave it as it is with the 120 sts and see if you can get the next row correct. I wonder if I have the st count wrong. No one has told me I do, but not everyone counts every round, so it may be an error in the count on my end.
count came out right on decrease row. Increased 8 and then decreased 8 in next row. In order to make pattern come out, I had to change some sts in rows 21 and 29 to make it come out. The rug turned out beautiful!! Don’t know how you can write patterns. I am not that talented!! Thank you.
I’m glad it worked for you!!
