This week on Jessie At Home we are featuring Naturally Nazareth yarn from Kraemer Yarns. It is a worsted weight, three-ply, 100% U.S. Merino Wool blend yarn that is made in the USA. Naturally Nazareth comes in 3.5 oz/100 g/200 yd hanks. I used it to create a snowman centerpiece for the holiday season. I just loved the stitch definition and the weight of the yarn, it works so nicely for the snowman. It holds in all the stuffing without any peaking out between stitches. The colors are wonderful, with just a little texture to the color so your finished piece doesn’t look flat.
This yarn would also make wonderful winter accessories such as hats and scarves, and great bags! It is feltable, so you could make a bag that doesn’t need a lining (always a bonus!) It is warm and sturdy so it’s great for winter items. It would make lovely sweaters and ponchos as well. You can see many wonderful projects created with Naturally Nazareth yarn on Ravelry, HERE.
As it is feltable, you will want to be careful when you wash it. Always hand wash and lay flat to dry. As long as you care for it properly, you will have a beautiful creation to cherish for years to come.
