It’s time to start the outer granny section of the Ginny’s Grannies blanket, and this is going to be so fun! I’ve loved designing all these granny squares to share with you. There are several different styles with several different variations. In the Ginny’s Grannies CAL Part 4 and over the next several months we will work our way around the blanket with these squares – and even a few rectangles. Then we’ll add a final border.

Find all the details and additional links about Ginny’s Grannies HERE.

The Tiffany Flapper Capper is a vintage inspired hat that works as a chemo cap and is also a classy fashion accessory. I have an affinity for retro fashion, and these hats have always attracted me. I adore the sleek look and the attitude they embody. Show off your style, show off your talent, and show the world you are strong and confident!

Week 8 of Crafty Time with Jessie included a few creative (and fun!) experiments. I’m actually pretty happy with the outcomes. I enjoy just playing around with my crafts and seeing if I can make the idea in my mind into something that actually works. After all, crafting should be fun.
You can find general info, links to all the weeks as we progress, and the current week’s videos HERE.

Cap-ulet – a cap (beanie) to go with your Juliette shawl

| Baby & Toddler, Cascade Yarns, Children, Crochet, Free, Hat, Hats & Earwarmers, Size 3 Yarn

The Cap-ulet beanie is a v-stitch hat made to use the leftover yarn from the recent update of the Juliette continuous shawl. So now with just one cake of yarn you can have a stunning set to fancy up your get-up. You can also make more with other stash yarn. Make a whole set for the family! These hats are super cute and fun to customize with bows, flowers, or other embellishments. The sample in the pictures has a loom flower (tutorial HERE).

Origami Knight Helmet Pattern – written and pictorial tutorial

The Origami Knight Helmet is so versatile! You can make it with printer paper and it will be about 3.5″ tall, which would make nifty place settings. Use bigger or smaller rectangles to make different size helms. You could even have a medieval party and first decorate your paper, then make the Knight Helmets out of the paper! So many ideas.
You will find the written and pictorial pattern for the Origami Knight Helmet below.
