Sometimes it’s just fun to sparkle and shine! You can use sparkly yarn, or you can add sequins or beads to your crochet creations to get some shine in your life. You can even use some of the awesome carry-alongs made by Kreinik which is one of my favorite tricks. Here are seven free crochet patterns to bring out your inner sparkle!

Here are the names and links of each pattern.

1) All Chained Up by Jessie At Home
“The All Chained Up infinity scarf has alternating solid sections and loose chain sections. This makes it so easy to wrap and gives it wonderful texture and many styling options.”

2) Ruffled Mini Tree Skirt by Stitches ‘N’ Scraps
“This Ruffled Mini Tree Skirt is only 12 inches in diameter, to fit a small, tabletop tree. Sew it closed, and it would look great under other decorations as well, or even as a trivet.”

3) Gumdrop Sparkle Cowl by Posh Pooch Designs
“The Yarn I used for this design is Caron Simply Soft Party. It is a Worsted weight (4) yarn. This yarn is made in Bright colors and with a strand of sparkle running through it. The Name ” Party” is perfect for this yarn.”

4) A Lil’ Something Sparkly Cowl by Underground Crafter
“This infinity cowl/circle scarf makes a statement by combining Cascade Yarns Cherub Aran Sparkle (a yarn with just the right amount of metallic thread) and a crossed puff stitch to create just the right amount of texture.”

5) Easy Sunflower Scrubby Dishcloth by Oombawka Designs
“You will find my Easy Sunflower Scrubby Dishcloth in both the Red Heart Scrubby/Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle AND a second version using the same pattern using the Creme de la Creme Yarns.”

6) Sparkling Wine Beverage Bag by Yarnutopia
“Making the party rounds during the holiday season? Why not wrap up a special bottle of your favorite beverage in this Sparkling Wine Beverage Bag?!”

7) Suddenly Sparkles Scarf by Moogly
“At the Knit and Crochet Show last week, one of the first skeins of yarn I was handed was a bright pink ball of Red Heart Boutique Swanky. And I all I could think was, ‘Oooo, sparkles!'”
