My parents are here visiting. Mom has been here for a little over a week, and Dad got here the other day. Doug has been away for nearly two weeks. He will be back tomorrow, and my folks will be off Monday afternoon.

So, you see why I have been a bit scarce as of late.

For the several days when it was Mom, the girls, and I, there was much crafting. The girls received several craft kits for their birthday, and Grammy helped them with one kit every day. Here is the product of one of those days:

Sand-Art!

I don’t remember taking this, but here is a cute picture of Kyla on her way off to bed one night.

The first day that Grandpa was here, he told the girls about his knee replacement. They asked him how it was done. This is Kyla’s reaction to the explanation.

Grandpa has been reading James and the Giant Peach to the girls. They are truly enjoying it (and so am I, to be honest.)

The girls really do miss Daddy. He calls every night, and they get to chat with him sometimes.

I hope you all are having a nice week. The Flashback CAL is still going on, and I will be posting here at least a few times a week throughout the rest of the summer. Once the school year is in swing, I hope to post even more!
