I miss my parents when they are off living on other continents. But there are some perks. My mom saw the Bayeux Tapestry and bought me back a goodie from the gift shop.
Before you say, “What, just cards?” Look inside.
Pretty cool, aren’t they? MINE!!! I love them.
A few days ago Kyla lost one of her top front teeth. The other one has been leaning to one side, so it looks like it is right in the middle. She looks like an adorable little monster with the centered tooth!
So, yarn. It. Is. Everywhere. I really need to get more organized.
Here is a teaser of my pattern I will be releasing before the month is out. The testers have finished with it, and I just have to do a bit more to finalize everything!
I still have tons of net/ruffle yarn. Tons.
I tried to get George to help me do some cleaning in the basement today, but he just taunted me with a knit pattern I really need to write. It’s about number 4 on the pattern list, so he will just have to wait.

Oh, here is more of a peak of that pattern to come! I really need to finish this last sample. My testers seem to be more on the ball then me this go around!
While my parents were here, Doug and I went on a date! We just went to a movie with some gift cards we had, but we were rather early so we took a stroll through Barnes and Noble. Look at the awesome books I got. The crochet one was $5 and the knit was $2. Cool!!!
I got a package in the mail yesterday. Look what my friend Laura got for me at Pennsic! I missed going on my vacation there this year, but Laura made sure I got something special anyway!
So, as she was half way up the stairs this evening, on her way to bed, Kyla decided it was time for the tooth to go. So she yanked it out. My tough little princess.
