I made a bunch for Pennsic.
Craft Hope Project 9 ~ ConKerr Cancer
I have finished up the pillowcases for Craft Hope Project 9. All the pillowcases are being donated to pediatric cancer patients. This way each child will have something special to make them feel a little more comfortable and loved.
This pillowcase is made from the strips I had left after making the solid cases.

Pennsic 39 part 1
So here we have it, about a month late, the first post of our Pennsic 39 vacation. I was still working on bits and pieces of projects to the very last minute. Here we have the girls giving me a hand getting the floor pieces ready the day before we left.

We got our JCPenney gift card! We all had a great time shopping for kid’s clothes. So. Much. Fun.
I received my $100 gift card from JCPenney that I told you about the other day. Talk about timing, the UPS guy was leaving as Doug was getting home. So then we excitedly hopped into the car and drove off to the mall to get some kid’s clothes! For free!
Kyla and Vada were all ready to go buy some pretty clothes! Aren’t they cute with the little purses their Aunt Aly bought them?
We got into the store and went to check the map.

I received a message from the CafeMom Team, letting me know I was picked for the JCPenney Children Influencer program. Free Kid’s Clothes!!
So a few weeks ago my wonderful friend Jenn gave me a few boxes of clothes. My girls just turned 3, and hers are 4 1/2 and 5 1/2. She has been handing down clothes to me since I knew the twins were going to be girls. I can’t even imagine how much money she has saved me.
After this batch of clothing, we felt we had a rather good collection of clothes with just a few holes (not in the clothing, but items needed like sneakers). Then, I received a message from the CafeMom Team

That’s what I’ve been lately, crazy busy! Getting ready for Pennsic. Lots o’ getting ready for Pennsic. It is my *plan* to take lots of photos and share the vacation and all the new stuff with you when I get back. We’ll see how that turns out. I truly am hoping that once we come back my life will be a bit calmer and I will have more time for other things, like blogland!
There will be at least 3 more posts before we leave on Saturday. Remember when I got my Roomba? Well now I have yet another reason to love CafeMom.com. I was chosen to be a CafeMom Influencer for JCPenney Children, which means they are sending me a $100 JCPenney Gift card to buy clothes for the girls and asking me to write honestly about it. I love the influencer program, and they really do want your honest opinions about the products and the shopping experience. Catching up ~ Gardening and Crafting!
Here are some old photos of the girls helping out neighbor garden, and making fun crafts. Lots of cuteness going on!
OK, this is about a month old, but too cute not to share. It was a morning when the weather was a bit too chilly to go for a walk, but we were in an “outing” kind of mood. So I packed up the girls and we drove over to AC Moore to find some fun $1 crafts. They each got two ~ more on those later.
When we got home, the weather was a bit nicer. Vera and Vincent, the lovely Italian couple who live next door, were in their back yard. The girls spotted them, so we HAD to go and visit. Vera was working on her flower gardens. The girls decided to help.
Once all the flowers were planted ~ at which point Mommy finally realized she had her camera with her and should start taking pictures ~ it was time for some watering. So Vada helped Vera fill the water.
Then it was time to water away!
Catching up ~ Zoo Day
In mid-May Jenn had a wonderful idea to take the girls on a great little outing for one of our Wednesday Play/Craft Days.
We got all dolled up and the girls put on their shoes. Look at those cute little pink toenails! One day they noticed mine and just begged for pretty pink toes, too. So now we have fun mommy and girls mani/pedi days about once a week. They love it. I love the hair drier with the cool setting I use to dry them so they don’t get nail polish on everything!
