Save Your Hands: Quick and Easy Crochet Bowl Cozies for Hot Bowls

Here’s a quick and easy microwave bowl cozy crochet pattern. This crochet bowl cozy is super useful and makes a great gift.

Star Trivet or Centerpiece

This star crochet pattern can be used as a trivet or a centerpiece. If your gauge is the same as mine, I have marked where to stop the pattern for the trivet, or you can go all the way to the end to make the centerpiece. However, you do not have to match my gauge for this pattern to work! It will just be a different size. Please remember to stay safe: don’t use meltable yarn for a trivet, and this pattern is not intended to be used as a potholder.

Crochet Patriotic Placemat

I love the look of the blue triangle and diagonal red and white stripes to represent the flag. It works so well for a placemat, and there is no worry of being disrespectful to the flag this way. I made a similar knit pattern a while back, and had quite a few requests for a crochet version. I had to find just the right stitch for it, and the linen stitch fit the bill. I have also included a chart of a mini version of the pattern which should help out with those of you who are more visual. This pattern is part of the Jessie At Home Patriotic CAL/KAL.

Striped Can Cozy

I love can cozies for parties. They are like attached coasters, and if they all look a little different they work to identify which drink is whose! Plus they keep your beverage cool without freezing your hand. This simple cozy pattern works on a can or bottle, and can be made as short or tall as you desire. It’s made with hdc stitches and can be made in stripes or solids. Enjoy!

Easy Beginner Basic Single Crochet Coaster

This simple coaster can be made by a crochet beginner, yet is still nice enough for an advanced crocheter to make as well. It is a single crochet square made in rows, with a border around it. There is a video and chart to help, making this a great learning project.

Another addition to the Spa Set. Here is a free bath mitt pattern for you!

This is great for scrubbing up the kiddies, or for pampering yourself. I have made two sizes, a small because I like my bath mitts to fit snugly, and a medium because I know a lot of people like the mitts to be looser. The pattern can be made with a thumb or with just a thumb hole, and with or without a ribbed bottom.

It really is a spa experience They are a great way to pamper yourself or make some and give them to pamper someone you know could use a little TLC.
