These stylish mitts will keep your wrists and forearms toasty warm. The cable detail offers a fashionable accent on both the top and bottom. They flair out as they go up the arm, so they fit well. Enjoy!

Yarn:
Red Heart Fashion Soft (DK weight acrylic): Artichoke 4650

Hook:
US-7, 4.5mm

Gauge:
17 sts x 9 rows = 4” [10 cm] in dc

Getting Started:
Left leaning cable across 4 sts: (LC4) Skip 2, fptr in each of next 2 sts, fptr in both skipped sts working in front of previous 2 sts. It may help to think of the stitches numbered right to left as 1, 2, 3, and 4. Fptr in those stitches in this order: 3, 4, 1, 2. CLICK HERE for a tutorial.

Pattern:
Rnd 1: Fdc 34, sl st to top of first st to form a loop.
*alt. rnd 1: ch 36, dc in 4th st from hook and in each remaining st, sl st to last ch made to form loop.
Rnd 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st here or throughout), *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 3: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, lc4, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnds 4&5: Ch 2 (does not count as a st here or throughout), *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 6: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, lc4, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 7: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, fpdc, ch 7, skip 7, fpdc, 2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 8: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, fpdc, 7 dc in ch sp, fpdc, 2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 9: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, lc4, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 4 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnds10-24: Repeat rnds 4-6 five more times.
Rnd 25: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 2 times, 3 fpdc in next st, [bpdc, fpdc] 2 times; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 26: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 5 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnd 27: Ch 2, 2 bpdc, lc4, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 5 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnds 28&29: Ch 2, *2 bpdc, 4 fpdc, 2 bpdc, [fpdc, bpdc] 5 times, fpdc; repeat from * once more, sl st to top of first st.
Rnds 30-35: Repeat rounds 27-29 two more times.

    • No, I do not. You can use the link to my printer friendly PDF in Craftsy, but it is $2 to cover the lost revenue from my ads on my blog. Otherwise you can cut and paste into a word doc and print that way.

    • Serena, I went to printfriendly.com and downloaded their app to my task bar and then I just have to copy her address, click on the printfriebdly, and then paste her address on there. Works great. Hope this helps you.
