Here’s a simple knit wrap bracelet that can be made with just casting one, binding off, and a couple stitches with a yarn needle. Not only is this a cute and quick handmade gift, but it’s also a great project for someone just learning to knit. It’s so nice to be able to complete a creation early on when learning a new skill. You can also use this as a choker or necklace.

Knit Picks Galileo: (50% Merino Wool, 50% Viscose from Bamboo), Size 2 (15 wpi, sport weight), 131 yds / 50 g (yds/g = 2.62)
Titan 27892 used in small: 1 skein, (10 yds / 4 g)
Aquarius 27891 used in medium: 1 skein, (13 yds / 5 g)
Pearl 26103 used in large: 1 skein, (16 yds / 6 g)
3.75mm (US 5)
Gauge: Learn about gauge HERE
19 sts = 4” [10 cm] in CO and BO
1/2 – 3/4″ button
Stitches and Abbreviations: click on highlighted sts for tutorials
bo – bind off
co – cast on
st(s) – stitch(es)
- Read through all instructions before beginning.
- Leaving a 12” tail co 100 (150, 200), if you find you cast on tightly, try casting on with a 4.5mm needle
- Bo all sts loosely.
- Cut yarn leaving a 12” tail and fasten off.
- Sew a button or large bead on the end of your piece without the yarn tails
