You will not believe how many space knits you will find in Mini Knitted Cosmos. And the variety is wonderful. There are real vehicles and UFOs, planets, stars, and moons, people astronauts and also animal astronauts, . You can make awesome creations for every outer space lover you know.
When I first got this book to review I was a little worried because I’m not really a mini-anything knitter and I’m not really a 3 dimensional knitter either. I was worried the patterns would be too fiddly, however, I was wrong.
These adorable little creations are knit flat and then joined together and to each other and stuffed with small amounts of stuffing. I actually used my yarn tails for most of the stuffing.
I found the patterns to be clear and easy to follow. All the assembly steps are there, everything in laid out in order so I was able to have success right away. I knit up my sweet little space knits alien with no problem at all, and pretty quickly as well! I’d say this book would work even for the adventurous beginner.
