Supplies For Your Beautiful Crochet Blanket

Yarn
WeCrochet Brava Worsted: (100% Premium Acrylic), Size 4 (Worsted), 218 yds / 100 g (yds/g = 2.18) Care: Machine Wash / Tumble Dry Low
***This yarn is also available in 500 g skeins for some colors. One 500 g skein in each color will be enough to make the blanket. Below is the yarn amount needed for the 100 g skeins.
Silver 28450: Color A, 4 skeins
Dove Heather 28428: Color B, 4 skeins
Seashell 28447: Color C, 4 skeins
Custard 28426: Color D, 4 skeins
Alfalfa 28409: Color E, 4 skeins
Sky 28451: Color F, 4 skeins
Freesia 288433: Color G, 4 skeins

HookCrochet Hooks
5.5 mm (US I/9)

Gauge: Learn about gauge HERE
15 sts x 7 rows = 4” [10 cm] in double crochet

[ ] – work step in brackets number of times indicated

Special Stitches

double chain 2 (dch2): Insert hook into designated st (usually the first st), yo, pull through (2 loops on hook), yo, pull through both loops, insert hook in left vertical loop of st part just made, yo, pull through (2 loops on hook), yo, pull through both loops.

Getting Started
  • Read through all instructions before beginning.
  • Stitch counts are at the end of each row after the period, if the count has changed from the previous row. {count here}
  • Chs and sl sts are not included in stitch counts unless specified.
  • Starting chains at beginning of rows do not count as stitches unless otherwise noted.

Row 1 (RS): With Color A, ch 1, turn, hdc in first st and in each st across. {145 sts}
Row 2 (WS): Ch 1, turn, sc in first st and in each st across.
Row 3: With Color C, turn, (dch2, dc) in first st, [ch 1, skip 3, 3 dc in next st] across until 4 sts remain, ch 1, skip 3, dc in last st. {35 3-dc groups, 1 2-dc group, 1 dc}
Rows 4-5: With Color E, turn, (dch2, dc) in first st, dc in ch-1 sp, [ch 1, dc in next ch-1, dc over same ch-1 and into center skipped st below, dc in same ch-1] across to end, ch 1, dc in last st. {35 3-dc groups, 1 2-dc groups, 2 dc}
Rows 6-8: With Color C, repeat Row 4 three times.
Rows 9-10: With Color E, repeat Row 4 twice.
Row 11: With Color C, repeat Row 4.
Row 12 (WS): With Color A, ch 1, turn, sc in first st, sc in next ch-1 sp, [sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in next ch-1 sp] across until 3 sts remain, sc in each of next 3 sts. {145 sts}
Row 13 (RS): Ch 1, turn, hdc in first st and in each st across.

Row 1 (WS): With Color B, ch 1, turn, hdc in first st, hdc in each st across. {145 sts}
Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, turn, sc in first st and each st across.
Row 3: With Color G, turn, dch2 in first st, dc in each st across.
Row 4: Turn, dch2 in first st, [fpdc around next st, dc in each of next 2 sts] across to end.
Row 5: With Color D, turn, dch2 in first st, fpdc around next st, [dc in next st, fpdc around each of next 2 sts] across until 2 sts remain, dc in each of last 2 sts.
Row 6: Repeat Row 4.
Rows 7-8: Repeat Rows 5-6.
Rows 9-10: With Color G, repeat Rows 5-6.
Row 11 (WS): With Color B, ch 1, turn, sc in first st and in each st across.
Row 12 (RS): Ch 1, turn, hdc in first st and in each st across.
