Hello again my friends! I hope this post finds you well. Last month I shared about the opening of the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop with you, and some of the awesome products and DIYs that you will find there. This week I want to share a project with you that I made with my instax® photos, some watercolors, and some washi tape.

First – did any of you make it to the grand opening? I was visiting family out of state, but if you made it there, I would love to hear about your visit. I still plan on taking a trip into The City to visit. I want to see all the cameras, and get some great DIY ideas.

I recently found myself in possession of a Boye Flower Loom. I’d never used one before, but I’ve always been fond of the pretty little flowers they create, so I thought I’d give it a go. You know what? It was really easy and the results were spectacular! I have a few ideas of what to do with some of these lovely flowers already!!

The loom came with instructions on how to use it, but I know some of you are more visual learners, so I thought I would make a video tutorial for you. I actually have 2, one that shows how to make the flower in a single color, without cutting the yarn between the flower and the center, and one that shows how to make the flower in two colors (flower and center). I hope these help you create beautiful flowers for all your upcoming floral needs!!

Hi there! My name is Danielle and I blog over at Storypiece – a craft and DIY site that encourages others to design a meaningful home that reflects their own unique story. I’m super excited to be guest posting for Jessie today and getting to know your community.

As someone who enjoys diving into creative endeavors, I have to confess that I only knit at a basic level and have struggled with learning how to crochet. In fact, I grew-up with a grandmother that constantly crocheted beautiful pieces, but I could never master the skill… really, the only thing I managed to accomplish was frustrating her to no end.

Recently my daughter, Tess, has taken up her great-grandmother’s mantle and taught herself how to crochet. I’m continually surprised by what she comes up with.

Re-Tee Kids Dress

This tutorial will help you to create a fun kids dress from an adult sized tee shirt. It even includes suggestions on how to make some accessories to go with it! This really is a tutorial more than a pattern, but if you follow along, you should be able to make your own version in a variety of sizes. You could even make an adult size if you can find a tee shirt large enough!

Fabric Yarn Flower: Crochet Tutorial

With as little as 2 yards of fabric yarn, you can make this sweet little flower. It can be used to accessorize another yarnie project, it can be put on a pin back, a magnet, a hair band or clip, and a variety of other items to make all sorts of pretty little creations. This tutorial includes written instructions with many process photos, and a video.
