World Wide Artist Blog Hop

Last week, Kim Guzman invited me to join in on the World Wide Artist Blog Hop. I “met” Kim on line through a Crochet Bloggers and Designers Facebook group we are both in. She and I became fast friends, and we finally got to meet in person at the Knit and Crochet show this past July. Kim has become a dear friend, and someone I often look to for advice on not only crochet/design questions, but also on how to … Read more

The Best Laid Plans ~ or ~ When does school start again?

So I had these grand plans for the week. I was going to run to AC Moore this morning to grab some yarn for the process photos that I am adding to the Fall Leaves wrap, along with a 2 color leaf option (this means I will be making another wrap to show the 2 color option, made in yarn that can be bought from most craft stores.) Then I was going to make a Stitchopedia video for the linen stitch and get that up today. That way by the end of the week I could have the pattern for the Baker’s Tee up for you. That pattern will be free here on this blog, and I wanted the linen stitch Stitchopedia post done first as the Baker’s Tee is made with the linen st. Then there were other videos and patterns to be worked on over the week, along with getting more posts up. Oh the plans.

Flat Stanley and the Art Fair

Hello! Flat Stanley here. Shh!!! Don’t tell Kyla’s mom that I am on her blog. Kyla’s weekend homework was to take me on an adventure, so we went to an art fair. It was so cool!! Kyla’s mom took lots of photos, and I managed to get ahold of her camera so I can share them with you. 🙂 ©Copyright 2014 Jessie Rayot / Jessie At Home All my videos, patterns and posts are my own work. Groundhog~Bowl~Snow~Day

Good evening everyone. We had a very creative and fun couple of days over here At Home. The girls stashed an A.C. Moore bag in Doug’s office, and occasionally they run in there to grab something out of it. A few days ago Vada pulled out this Valentine’s Day monster. It always makes me smile when they randomly decide its craft time and just start getting creative. Of course Kyle loves to express her creativity with fashion! This sparkly little … Read more

Visitors!

My parents are here visiting. Mom has been here for a little over a week, and Dad got here the other day. Doug has been away for nearly two weeks. He will be back tomorrow, and my folks will be off Monday afternoon. So, you see why I have been a bit scarce as of late. For the several days when it was Mom, the girls, and I, there was much crafting. The girls received several craft kits for their … Read more

Street fair wrap up

Consistency. I know, I need to be more consistent with my posts. As I said the other day, the stress of last few months is really getting to me; but don’t worry I’m not going anywhere. I will be working on the behind~the~scenes~stuff on my blog this summer. Basically making sure all the links go where they should (there is still some craziness from the move from Blogger to self~hosted WordPress,) and getting all my patterns in the correct directories, … Read more

Crafty Hubby

Doug’s Grandmother’s birthday fell a few days after Easter this year, and Doug wanted the girls to make her something special. So the day before our Easter gathering, he guided the girls in this craft. Apparently some of the kids he tutors had brought them into the center, and he thought they would be easy enough to duplicate. So, without further ado ~ here is a fun tutorial typed up by me, but inspired by my Crafty Husband!! Hand Print Lilies! To … Read more

Company! Fun with the littles

We had quite a fun time yesterday! Vada’s “best” friend (she actually has 3 or 4 of them,) Izabel, was over. Iz abel’s mom had to go into work at the movie theatre from 12 to 4. So she asked if we could watch Izabel for that time. She also said we could all go over to the theatre and watch “Escape from Planet Earth” for some of the time. The movie was set to get out at the same … Read more

Painting pottery!

As I am sitting here in Thor, waiting to check into Pennsic, I think I will be productive. You may have noticed I just figured out how to post from my Droid, so I may have many short vacation photos for you throughout the next couple of weeks. As long as I can keep my phone charged, that is.

So, as I was saying, productive.

The girls turned 5 last Friday.

Things I meant to share.
